Turnaround (Production time)

The turnaround time on your order with Ice Screen Printing starts when 1) We’ve received a full payment of your order 2) We have all information required to complete your order (all artwork, correct tag files, all fonts required for editable tags, all shipping info, etc.) & 3) Your Mock-up/design have been approved.

Delay in receipt of *any* of this info could result in production delays.

Our current turnaround time is 7-10 Business Days which don't include weekends or bank holidays + Shipping. Complex orders/add-ons may increase turnaround. Delay in approval of mock-ups could also result in production delays. Each finishing service (printed tags, folding, etc.) will add extra time to the turnaround on orders, adding roughly 2 days per finishing to the turnaround time. The most up-to-date turnaround time will be listed on your quote and invoice.

If you have a deadline for your order, it is very important that you let us know when placing your order and a rush fee may apply if there is not enough time to complete your order under normal circumstances. If you do not advise us about a due date until after your order has been paid for and pushed through our system, we may not be able to accommodate your request. Any circumstances out of Ice Screen Printing’s control (ie: weather delays, shipping errors by the supplier, etc.) may also require more time and are not factored into the initial turnaround time estimate.

You will be given an estimated completion date when your order is processed. Please note this is estimated and not a guaranteed date of the day your order will be delivered.

Minimums

It’s possible to order as low as 1 t-shirt, but we recommend ordering 30 to 50 t-shirts pr color for a better price pr item.

Ved indbetaling efter betalingsfristens udløb tillader vi os at opkræve et ekspeditionsgebyr på kr. 100,- samt opkræve morarenter ifølge rentelovens regler.

ESTIMATES:

All estimates are good for thirty (30) days.

Copyright:

All art and materials supplied by Ice Screen Printing including screens, films, and separations, remain the property of Ice Screen Printing.  Any art supplied by the customer remains the property of the customer.  All screens and films remain the property of Ice Screen Printing.

When placing an order with Ice Screen Printing the customer accepts sole responsibility for copyright and the reproduction of images. It is deemed you are the owner / have permission to reproduce artwork files.

Artwork

All files must be 300 DPI or vector format. The design should be sized to the size you would like it to print. Text must be converted to outlines. Printing can only be as good as the artwork. Ice Screen Printing will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. Please see our file prep page for more details. Ice Screen Printing is not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file. We do our best to catch these errors and point them out to you, but we may not catch them all. If it is in your art file and on your approval, that is how we will print it.

Art Approval | Order Proofing

All artwork is to be approved via a digital mock-up through email. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, sizes ordered, placement of the art and accuracy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the mockup, as this is how your garments will print. Ice Screen Printing will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and could require additional expenses. Any delays in the approval process longer than 24 hours after receipt of the mockup could result in production delays.

Max Imprint Sizes

Please note that not all shirts are sewn exactly the same. The following dimensions are to be used for reference as a "safe" zone to avoid printing on any seams or edges. We will guide you to the right size of artwork to the different styles we supply.

  • Girls Small – 27,5cm W x 45cm H
  • Girls Medium – 30cm W x 19” H
  • Girls Large – 30cm W x 20” H
  • Girls Extra Large – 30cm W x 21” H
  • Unisex Extra Small – 30cm W x 20” H
  • Unisex Small – 33cm W x 22” H
  • Unisex Medium – 38cm W x 50cm H
  • Unisex Large – 40cm W x 50cm H
  • Youth Small – 33cm W x 33cm H
  • Youth Medium – 33cm W x 40cm H
  • Youth Large – 35cm W x 48cm H

NOTE: Any print that goes over a seam can result in imperfections in the print. (Which can be very cool-looking, if you're into that.)

Screen Sizes

We will use the same set of screens per design ordered, the graphic will print the exact same size, no matter the size of the item we are printing on. If you would like to have different screen sizes made for different item sizes, please let us know ahead of time. Please keep the max imprint sizes in mind when printing girl and youth sized shirts.

Apparel supplied by the customer

Must be compatible with our inks (50/50 or 100% cotton)

Must be new from the mill, not old worn fabric.

Must be willing to drop off or ship apparel to our shop.

We usually are very good about credits and no charge for botched prints on our part, when we mess up on apparel that is purchased from us, we credit the print and apparel that has been botched or we replace it right there. When printing customer supplied apparel, if we misprint, we can only credit the cost of the print.

All customer supplied garments are subject to a 2% misprint allowance for light colors and 5% for dark colors.   All customer supplied garments are printed AT THE CUSTOMER'S OWN RISK.  Because we cannot control and may not be familiar with the garment material supplied by the customer, we cannot offer any warranty or guarantee of print quality or durability on any work done with customer supplied garments.

Out of Stock Items

Ice Screen Printing is not responsible for items that are out of stock. While we check items we know to have potential stock issues, all garments are ordered after your order is placed, and we cannot guarantee their availability. If items are out of stock, we will provide you with a list of possible replacements and get it approved by you before using your chosen item.

Hoodie Printing

Although Ice Screen Printing has the latest equipment available, inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage when printing over the zipper, pockets or any other uneven surfaces. Ice Screen Printing will not be responsible for these inconsistencies.

Specific Measurements When Printing

There is no way to effectively and efficiently measure a distance from the collar on each shirt as each garment is loaded onto the press by hand. If you request a print that is 2” down from the collar, we will use that as a guide and do our best to make sure that all shirts hit that target, but not all shirts will hit exactly at 2”, they may be off by as much as an inch in either direction. This will not be considered a misprint and Ice Screen Printing will not reprint or refund these shirts.

Changes to Your Order After Payment

Any change made to your order that is not due to a stock issue on behalf of the stock suppliers will be subject to a change fee of $50.00 in addition to the additional costs to make the changes. Any changes to your order after it has been placed will delay your order, even if you have paid a rush fee and/or have given us a required date. It is very important that you do not place your order until you are certain that's what you want. Once the process begins, everyone in our shop starts to work on different aspects of the job, changes become costly and time consuming.

Under-Runs & Spoilage

Due to the nature of this business, Ice Screen Printing will not be responsible for under-runs or spoilage up to 3% on jobs of 100 shirts per design, and up to 10% on jobs of less than 100 pieces. (Spoilage must be more than 10 shirts per design for a reprint). Please keep this in mind when ordering (it is never a bad idea to order extras). We always do our best to get you what you ordered. We will refund you the cost of any items shorted from your order but will not process a reprint for less than 10% of your order (or 10 shirts minimum).

DYE LOTS:

Due to market conditions and manufacturer garment mill variances beyond the seller’s control, seller cannot guarantee consistency of dye colors throughout an individual order or from one order to the next.

COLOR MATCHING:

Pantone matching is available at an additional charge and there is a minimum order of 36 pieces. PMS matching is only a guideline. Due to the differences between paper and textiles or other substrates this is not guaranteed.

Delivery:

We cannot accept responsibilty for delays on the part of any delivery company we use nor can we reimburse any loss incurred by the customer by late delivery of goods due to these delays

PACKAGING:

All orders will be folded in bulk, grouped per size in quantities of 10 unless otherwise specified.  Individual folding and bagging is available at an additional charge.

Pricing

Ice Screen Printing reserves the right to change pricing without notice.

Garment Disclaimer

Ice Screen Printing is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size if an exact count is important.

Some manufacturers over-dye their garments. Over-dying is the process of re-dying a garment after it's initial manufacturing period. This is done for any number of reasons, including color correction, clearing out of colors that didn't sell (purple shirts aren't selling so the manufacturer dyes them black to sell them as black shirts), etc. Because of this factor, Ice Screen Printing cannot 100% guarantee exact color consistency on coloring with discharge printing or discharge based services (Premium Standard). This is most noticeable on white ink prints (showing a slight off white tinge), but can sometimes be seen with other colors. If you are concerned about the possibility of over-dying on a garment you are interested in or would like more information or alternate print methods, please contact us. We will be glad to provide you with any information that may help you avoid this issue.

Due to the nature of custom printed products, we cannot accept a return of any kind unless it is misprinted, defective or materially flawed. Sizing and shrinkage of apparel can vary between manufacturers and styles. If you have a concern before you order, please order a sample of the product before purchase.

Ice Screen Printing cannot guarantee the dye consistency of apparel from any manufacturer. Dye lots may vary through the order.

Ink colors may differ from what was approved on your art proof online. This is due to different color settings of monitors. If you have a concern, please order an ink sample before production. Ice Screen Printing is not responsible for this color variance.

Ice Screen Printing is not responsible for the miss-sizing of your art on the product if not specified by the customer. Art must be sent at the size it is to be printed or customer needs to specify the size. If the customer does not let us know what size the art is to be printed, we will size the image on the piece ourselves.

Dye Migration

Dye migration occurs when dye from the fabric transfers to the plastisol ink causing the ink to turn a different shade. The most pronounced colored garment that this happens on is red or maroon. 100% cotton garments resist this for the most part but, with blends, it is a major problem. If you are dead set on having red or maroon 50/50 shirts with white ink, there is a slight chance your white ink will turn pink, even if we are using types of ink to resist this bleeding. We mainly press 100% cotton for this reason.

Cracking

Plastisol prints on t-shirts are not suppose to crack after a few washes. I am sure you probably have a shirt or 2 that you have had in your closet for years that the image is all cracked and flakey. The main culprit is the ink has not been cured properly in production. We test every order for a proper cure. There are other reasons for cracking and fading of screen printed garments. One is the screen print was not taken care of properly. If your clothes dryer is set for a higher heat, this heat will remelt the plastisol print and then recool it. This melting and recooling process compromises the screenprint. If you pull a screen printed shirt out of the dryer and the print is sticky or tacky, you are putting to much heat to the garment. Proper care is a must for screen printed garments to last beyond the life of the shirt. The best way to care for screen printed garments is machine wash, cold water, no bleach, delicate cycle, garment turned inside out. Hang dry for best results but OK to tumble dry low heat on permanent press settings. Do not use fabric softener. Do Not iron printed area.

Washout

Plastisol ink is designed to last repeated washings without washing out. However, some special effects inks wash out a bit the first few washings.

If you have a standard ink print that washed out after a wash, please bring it to our attention and we will credit it. Please don’t bother trying to get a credit after it has been washed a hundred times or so.

Any product that is involved in a claim that is defective or misprinted must be either returned or the customer may purchase the items for a 50% discount. Reprinting of the same order with the same art is the only option. Full refunds or changing of the art is not permitted. If products are returned, Ice Screen Printing reserves the right to give away or sell the items as seconds.

Satisfaction Clause

Ice Screen Printing will not be responsible for your satisfaction with the garments printed on or the printed artwork. We are always available to counsel any customer to ensure you pick a garment that matches your needs but we also need you to do your due diligence on the garment choice. If you are unsure of what garment to select, we can gladly order a number of blank samples for you to choose from. The samples will be billed at a per piece rate and shipped without printing. Blank samples will not credit to the cost of your order.

Quality Assurance

We try to check every garment as it comes off of the press, but there are times where some mistakes will make it out the door. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. Ice Screen Printing will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the goods. Ice Screen Printing also will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. While Ice Screen Printing does quality checks on the garments, the final quality assurance check lies in the hands of you, our customer.

Production delays / Missed Deadlines:

If there is a problem or delay with your order & a deadline is missed (although this is very uncommon, it can happen) we can't accept responsibility for loss of sales or any other costs this may incur to you. Typically when a deadline is missed you will be refunded the cost of postage or rush order fee if one was paid. As the products are custom made we cannot accept a return if the reason for returning the goods is that they were late either by production delays or delivery delays

Return Policy

If you have a problem with your order you have to notify us within 7 days of receiving the goods, otherwise we will assume the order has been accepted & checked, you may not be entitled to a refund or reprint after this period. If notified within this time we will either offer a reprint or a refund depending on how many items are faulty or missing.

If the whole order is faulty we will arrange a courier to collect from you, please make sure you repackage the returned goods suitably for transit. We will then inspect the garments to check the return is valid. If there are 1 or a few faulty items in a batch then photographs of the faulty items will be acceptable proof, no return will be necessary.
